Botox injections are considered medical procedure in Utah and must be administered by a licensed physician. If it falls within their scope of practice and they have the education, experience, ability, and training to competently and safely administer the procedure, the physician may delegate the Botox injection procedure to a trained physician assistant operating under the delegation of services agreement.
